Ramachandra Bangari is a PhD candidate at the lab interested in optical properties of van der Waals materials. He is working on low symmetry van der Waals materials, such as, ReSe₂, As₂Te₃, and GaTe, and van der Waals stacks, primarily twisted MoO3. He is mainly involved in experimental characterization of dielectric function and computational simulations of polariton propagation, but works on other projects as well. He obtained his Bachelor's and Master's in Physics from the Indian Institute of Science Bangalore.
